The 18th regular session of Kutaisi City Council started with the reports of the Department of Housing Infrastructure and Development and the Department of Culture, Sport, Education, Monument Protection and Youth Affairs. The reports on the activities carried out during the year were presented by the heads of the departments. Following the reports, an amendment to the Resolution #112 of the Council of February 23, 2001 was adopted. It envisages changes in the principle of financing of the activities carried out as part of the program “Apartment Building” by the department of Housing Infrastructure Management and Development and will result in reducing the share of homeowners’ partnerships.

Kutaisi City Council held the 30th extraordinary session which approved the city budget for 2012. The main document of the second capital of Georgia was presented by the Head of the financial Department of the City Hall.
